Gold Lion d'or coin from the Burgundian Netherlands under Philippe le Bon (1419–1467), minted for the County of Flanders, weighing 3.93 g and 30.02 mm with ungraded condition, obverse featuring a heraldic lion seated under a Gothic canopy with the letters B on both sides and the legend PHILIPPUS DEI GRATIA DUX BURGUNDIE COMES FLANDRIE, and reverse showing a quartered Burgundian shield with a central Flanders escutcheon topped by a large floral cross and the legend SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTUM.
